Using universal industrial software platforms such as Ignition SCADA software, Black Controls provides a customizable AMR integration platform to link AMR Fleet software and Industrial equipment.
Our integration platform acts as a powerful bridge between production line PLC’s, MES systems, and the Autonomous Mobile Robots.

Black Controls AMR Integration platform enables custom interface displays for real-time AMR monitoring and supports both manual and automated mission control. The platform allows seamless interaction with warehouse operations, making real-time adjustments and coordination possible as demands shift.

With features like dynamic location assignment, emergency protocol management, and comprehensive data collection on AMR performance, the system ensures safe, efficient, and informed operations. It also integrates with manufacturing execution systems (MES), enabling synchronized data exchange, model selection, and full alignment across automated workflows. Conveyor Top Module

The Conveyor Top Module is a powered roller system mounted on an AMR, designed to enable seamless, automated material transfers between AMRs and stationary conveyor lines. The Top Module shown above is on a MiR 1350, at a conveyor width of 36″ and capable of transferring 1100kg of product. Customizable to be deployed on other robot models and suited to meet your conveying requirements.

Acting as an intelligent extension of existing conveyor systems, in manufacturing facilities.

Equipped with motor-driven rollers (MDRs), the module interfaces with the AMR’s general-purpose I/O and is compatible with Ignition SCADA software for remote monitoring and control.

By automating material handling, the Conveyor Top Module reduces repetitive tasks, minimizes manual intervention, and significantly lowers the risk of workplace accidents. Its flexible, robust design allows for reliable operation in dynamic environments—addressing common operational challenges such as inefficient workflows, forklift collisions, and the need for improved safety compliance.

Turntable & Common Docking Stands

Built on a shared base, the Turntable and Common Docking Stands are designed to work seamlessly with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), offering efficient, flexible options for handling materials in industrial environments.

The Turntable Stand features a manually rotatable platform that lets operators access all sides of a dunnage bin without moving the entire unit – ideal for sorting, assembly, or inspection workflows where quick, ergonomic access is key.

The Common Docking Stand enables automated loading and unloading of custom trays and standard North American or European pallets. It ensures stable alignment for smooth AMR docking and reliable payload transfer.

Both stands are built on a shared structure and can be engineered to meet higher weight requirements based on customer needs- currently rated at 600 kg – making them a versatile solution for modern material handling environments.

Quad Stand

The Quad Stand is a versatile mobile structure designed to hold and queue up to four dunnage bins for seamless integration with an AMR. Featuring swivel casters for easy manual movement, the stand’s customizable frame accommodates various bin sizes and robot docking configurations.

It enables ergonomic loading and unloading by positioning materials within easy reach of operators while maintaining a continuous flow of staged bins for efficient automated handling. Ideal for manufacturing and warehouse environments, the Quad Stand optimizes workflow by ensuring the next material is always ready for pickup, improving both productivity and operator comfort.
